Warm-up

A warm-up normally consists of three parts:

  1. General warm-up.
    The warm-up always starts with a general part to warm-up the complete body. Exercises to achive this are for example; running, side steps, cross steps, knee lifts, rope skipping, swinging your arms, ……
  2. Stretching.
    To lengthen your muscles to prevent injuries. Focus on the muscles specifically used in the sport you are going to teach.
  3. Specific warm-up.
    Exercises and movements that are common in the sport you are going to practice. For example, if volleyball is the sport exersices might include; passing the ball, setup and smash, serve.
