A warm-up normally consists of three parts:
- General warm-up.
The warm-up always starts with a general part to warm-up the complete body. Exercises to achive this are for example; running, side steps, cross steps, knee lifts, rope skipping, swinging your arms, …… - Stretching.
To lengthen your muscles to prevent injuries. Focus on the muscles specifically used in the sport you are going to teach. - Specific warm-up.
Exercises and movements that are common in the sport you are going to practice. For example, if volleyball is the sport exersices might include; passing the ball, setup and smash, serve.
